We don’t think so and  have gathered for you all the arguments in favor of working remotely.

For employees

  1. One of the main advantages of working remotely for employees is that there is no need  to spend time and money on travel (subway, buses, gasoline). You get an extra couple of hours of personal time. As a result, the stress level at a remote job goes down.

  2. You have more freedom in everyday life (for children, parents, friends, grocery shopping, sports). You plan your own vacation, working hours. The company has a performance orientation, not a presence in the office.

  3. Stress is reduced (to get up early tomorrow so you won’t be late for work) you get enough sleep, your ability to work increases.

  4. Reduced overall fatigue, and therefore increased productivity. During the coronavirus, Google and Microsoft, for example, programming teams have worked better, even despite the overall situation, productivity and the level of self-organization of employees has increased several times.

The priority in choosing a city or country is your personal well-being and the well-being of your family, not the location of the office.

  8. Less exposure to germs from sick colleagues (especially relevant in the Covid-19 era)

  9. The ability to travel to other places without a break from work. Complete freedom of movement, you become location independent and can even live/travel with other remote professionals.

  10. Some people find it easier to communicate with colleagues remotely. The amount of drama and office politics is decreasing. With a good manager, the team can become more cohesive, although much depends on how communication channels are built.
